Re:newcell is proud to announce that the first Re:newcell production of a fully recycled garment has been made. The garment is a breakthrough for the textile recycling industry and was presented at a fashion show during the first week in July on Gotland, Sweden.
The garment shows that the production technology is fully functioning and produces comfortable clothes of high quality. The dress is made out of recycled blue jeans which were then recycled with the technology built in collaboration of re:newcell and KTH. The dress was produced in cooperation with Svenskt Konstsilke AB, Textilhögskolan in Borås and Wargön Innovation.
